General discussion

eliminating Microsoft exchange client file

Jul 22, 2005 7:49AM PDT

I am operating Windows xp. Recently, I installed MS Outlook 97 in order to use it, unsuccessfully, to import an old Sidekick 98 data base to a Sony clie peg-th55. Since then everytime I try to send a MS Word page to an e-mail recipient, I got the same Outlook profile box (profile name: outlook)and the message that it couldn't find the exchange.hlp file. How can I stop getting the Outlook profile box so I can resume sending the documents by Outlook Express, my default e-mail program?
