Are there any tools for editing MP3 song tracks?

I just want to edit two of my favourite MP3s to have a slower playing rate.

First off here is a free music converter and ripper.

Second here is a free music editor Wife uses it on all kinds of music and podcast files. I would go to the home page and get the newer version It has even more features.

I have used both of these programs for years with no problems whatsoever.

I know dBpowerAMP Music Converter, but just wonder how to edit a MP3 to have a slower playing rate.
Isn't it just a software for conversion of
music tracks?
