Question

Editing Audio in Movie Studio Platinum & Sound Forge

Apr 26, 2013 7:47AM PDT

I am trying to edit audio tracks of movies in Movie Studio Platinum 12.

You can right click the audio track and 'Open in Audio Editor', which opens the entire movie in Sound Forge. If you ungroup the audio, it still goes into SF complete, movie as well as audio. Anyone know how to just take over the audio?

Also, once the editing is finished, you are supposed to be able to save the file and then MSP12 is supposed to update its Project Files with these changes .... however ....

You cant save as it says the file is open elsewhere. Even if you close MSP12, you still get these messages.

Can anyone help with this please? I have a entire DVD to edit and Im stuck.
