I can't help you directly but know that what you write was too easy in Open Office when I make a PDF there. If my headers are blank in my document... I get no headers and so on. The PDF creator doesn't add items.

I need to get rid of the page title and the page numbers and the web address and the date found at the top and the bottom of the page when I convert a word doc to pdf. I'm using Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and using Adobe Distiller to convert the doc. Is there anyway to change the settings so these things don't show up when I convert the page. It's like I'm printing it and I just want a clean pdf conversion of an online newsletter in pdf format. No date and web stamps like you get when you print it on a normal printer. Can anyone make any suggestions. I'd like to fix it using Adobe preference settings if possible, but would also be open to using another Adobe editor software if one exists and works in conjunction with Adobe Acrobat 5.0.
Thanks,
