... I think it was a Volkswagen Bug... that was drafting behind a tractor trailer on the highway to save on gas. It supposedly hooked bumpers with the truck somehow, and was dragged a hundred miles or so, past where the originally intended destination had been.
There is a difference between being frugal and being dangerously cheap.
