Game, Set and Match

Used to indicate that a person has definitively beaten the opposition in a given situation. Thus, the final winning shot is the one that wins the player the point that wins the game that wins the set that wins the match.

"when you have no followers, you have no leader".........nobody responded to you, so I guess that makes me the leader and you're the follower (my point wins the match?)

YOU would have BUT.....I guess I delivered a knockout blow. I hit you so hard...you forgot you read my linked post, and YOU started a new thread. We all know how you hate duplicate threads.

Perhaps if you were actually capable of having a normal conversation, you would have noticed that your post had nothing in it to respond TO which is why you had no followers......awwww

Just because you failed to understand JP's post and link
by Rob_Boyter / October 17, 2014 11:20 AM PDT

doesn't mean that the information wasn't there. Face it, Toni, you don't understand simple English when it disagrees with your preconceptions.

You just wanted your harangue to start a new thread. Fine. You're so wrong that when you wake up tomorrow, the world will be speaking Chinese and you'll be walking backwards in Antarctica. And I doubt that you'll notice any change. Look up the meaning of "Idee fixe" in a Psychology book or on line.

Did to...I was showing you that I predicted the future...and you proved me right.

I said someone would question why they picked the person they did...and YOU were that someone.........

This is so much fun. The Republicans have called for a Czar
by Rob_Boyter / October 17, 2014 10:56 AM PDT

for the last 5 days. Now they've got one, they don't like him.

The Czar isn't there for Medical Expertise, he's there to knock Agency heads together to get things done. For that you need a Washington Insider. Who you going to choose, a long time Democratic insider who has done this before, or hire a Republican who would Pi$$ all over everything to the Republicans amusement. The Republicans have indicated their preference, and it's the latter.

If you saw the movie Recount, this guy was played by Kevin Spacey in the attempt to sort out the Election Steal in Florida.

a former Surgeon General (Coop) regulate warning labels on cigarette packs, can you think of one thing any other SG has been noted for, because I can't. I don't think an SG would do much in this case either because we've had other 'epidemics' here in the USA that didn't involve any of them to solve.

He's a lawyer, a Washington insider, and a Democratic Party mover and shaker. A predictable choice. See my other reply. Just because Obama appointed Robert Gates in an act of bi-partisanship which went utterly unappreciated, doesn't mean he'll do it because you want him to. And everyone here knows you'd complain about anybody BO appointed. Your political masters have told you to. I bet you went to half a dozen Partisan web-sites to get your text.

Far more importantly, *Where is the Surgeon General.*

Amusingly the issue was raised on September by Rep. Shakowsky (sp?) who wanted a vote on the Obama nominee. The Congress i.e. the Republicans wanted to continue filibustering the appointment as they have for the past year, and decided to go on vacation. Rep Shakowsky raised the issue again when Congress came back, and was again rebuffed.

It's the Republicans who want a major outbreak of Ebola in the US, judging by their actions in blocking needed appointments and their constant carping and back-biting. Trying to listen to Republicans is like trying to make sense out of the barks of fighting dogs, and are just as intelligent. Or Not.

Can you tell me one thing the Republicans have done to block efforts to stop Ebola? I can tell you several the Democrats (aka Obama) has done to help spread it around America.

This Klain's resume stinks of 'politics' and is an expert lobbyist......which is exactly how this WH sees the Ebola issue....it's not a health issue for them, it's a political one so they needed another political hack to 'take over' in order to make sure talking points reflect a rosy picture no matter what.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
