easycap and Ulead

i just bought my easycap yesterday. i have vista so i had to download some new drivers from a site after i did that my device manager showed that my easycap was installed properly, but when i open ulead (the software that came with my easycap) it won't detect it.

What did it say?

no capturing device install/detected? Is this an internal or external device? I have no knowledge of esaycap so I just want to know,

i laready installed and my computer recognizes it but now ulead won't and it's external

Ok, this is just my opinon;

I went to to take a look at this thing. I am not saying this is a scam or anything; but looking at the price I just wonder how good can this be (and it comes with software yet, wow). Personally I use dvd recorder now. I had try all such devices before too. Just curios, what kind of computer do you have? The slower the speed the lower the resolution one can capture. Also what version is the Ulead?

There's your clue.

It doesn't work as supplied, you had to find drivers and it still does not work.

It is defective and not ready for sale. Return it and cut your loss of time and money.
