I had seen several references recently about "Karnac" (I think you were the person who was using those references, perhaps not) and I assumed it was in reference to Johnny Carson's alterego Carnac.
I thought the reference to that "mind-reading sage" was actually pretty funny, especially since it was when someone else had entered in some cryptic message who didn't seem to have a clue as to where, or what, they were talking about.
The Johnny Carson "Carnac" was spelled with the first 3 letters of his name "Car..."
(I enjoyed Carson's comedy skits.)
But your statement made me wonder if perhaps I was wrong, perhaps there is a "Karnac" so I Googled it.
I found "KARNAC"
an acronym for Knowledge Aided Retrieval iN Activity Context.
Information for KARNAC is generally to be derived from structured, semi-structured and unstructured databases. This would include information derived from e.g. gun registrations, driver's licenses, residential and criminal records, as well as from the Internet.
Is that what you are talking about?
Or are you just making light of me
? Wink if you are. ![]()
