Didn't I just see this same post somewhere else?

Looks like some marketing going on. Forget trying to burn DVDs via an online service. The bandwidth needed would be enormous.

maybe...

marketing...on the internet? that's crazy! it has nothing to do with bandwidth - the disc image isn't downloaded onto your computer, nor is it processed on your computer. you edit all your stuff online, on their servers - then press buy dvd, and comes in the mail. alot easier than authoring yourself, plus you get case, insert and artwork.

More marketing. This definitely seems to be a shill.

Ummm, how does the video get to the online site? That requires bandwidth. Forget it.

Try it big boy...

Kiddpeat, find me another site that does what they do - I'll bet you a scooby snack... take a moment to READ it. of course it takes some time to upload the video clips - but you can also send in your tapes and they'll upload it it onto their site. (and try getting broadband!)

It's a lot easier and quicker for many people than screwing around with capturing the video, editing it, authoring a DVD, and making artwork. Some people actually don't like to sit in front of a computer in their parent's basement their entire life.

Why not make the marketing pitch complete?

Post your prices and be done with it.

Send in your tapes. Riiiggghhhtttt! Of course, there is absolutely no risk of them getting lost either.

ok, I will

sorry you're stuck in the miserable world of posting cynical little rants on the web all day, but most people actually go outside, go places interesting, and have fun with family and friends...

And they shoot video and stills of it, but then immediately put them in a dank, dark basement, kinda like where you're sitting, never to be seen again. However, just as you have found a way to cry out from your miserable hole via the internet, so can your tapes, via www.onetruemedia.com.

I think you just violated the tos, and still
