Sep 21, 2004 3:29PM PDT

Hello:

Can anyone please let me know how to move my tak bar in Windows XP "where it belongs," at the bottom of my Desktop? (Somehow I moved it the the top, and it's very annoying.)

Please advise. Thank you.

It's very easy.

Move the mouse cursor into the task bar area, left-click and hold it then drag it to the bottom. You're DONE!!!!!

Thanks guys! For whatever reason, it didn't work the first time. (I think that maybe I just tried "grabbing" the corner of the 'box' before.) I was able to move it. However, it's now two "layers" thick, instead of the preferred one.

I really am fairly skillful with computers but had not come across this before. I've gone through menus, right clicking the task bar, but nothing seems to shrink it to one layer. I'll keep at it.

Thanks again,
John

Third EASY...

Very slowly move the cursor into the top line of the Task Bar until you see the "Up & Down" cursor. Left-click and hold the mouse button then try to make a move to the bottom.
