Easy Media Creator

I have a CD copy of Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5 that has never worked well for me(may be my fault) that I tried to uninstall to try to get a better installation. Now I cannot uninstall because the program cannot locate a certificate title. All efforts to uninstall through Add/Remove in Control Panel, deletion of files, and Revo Uninstaller have failed. Asked for help from Roxio but this version is not supported any longer. Now I just want to eliminate the software in order to install another similar program(prob. Nero). I am not interested in upgrades from Roxio. I am not a sophisticated user and need help to remove all traces of this program from my system.
