Easy CD 6 - DVD Builder - sound sync problem

Mar 18, 2005 11:04PM PST

I am trying to use Roxio's DVD Builder to create DVDs from MPEG files ripped from VHS tapes. The clips play fine on my computer, but when I burn the CD, the audio is offset by about 1/2 second - quite annoying! Is there a setting somewhere I should be using? (In fact there don't seem to be many user settings in this program, which otherwise appears to be a pretty good authoring platform)

Thanks for any advice

playback on the computer?

AIWs sometimes do something like this, and the ATI software compensates. You probably need a video editor to move the audio track back into synch. If it is consistent throughout, it should be very simple.
