Question

East Asian language (Chinese caracters)

Aug 16, 2012 12:43AM PDT

Hi,
Attempting to install Chinese caracters on XP Prof desktop.
Control panel/regional settings _ Language tab and here I checkmark the bottom box *Install folders for East Asian language. I am prompted for win cd _ I point to it - it begins copying files then it stops saying its missing a dll
Kbd101.dll. I scanned my cd and cannot find it. -stuck at this point.
The OS is fully updated.
I tried another avenue and downloaded Windows XP Service Pack 3 MUI Pack Update from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22108 and this worked on my pc but on my friend's system it did nothing.
