Easiest video editing software to use with Sony DCR-SR300?

Any advice on simple and easy-to-use video editing software? Ease of use is the most important aspect (cost is not so much the issue). Will be used on PC's probably with XP Professional. Don't need lots of fancy features - will trade off having less features for ease of use. Thank you!
