earbud wires tangle

by outat3rd / December 23, 2006 8:11 AM PST

Each time I pull out my mp3 player, the earbud wires are knotted and I have to mess with them to untangle the things. Is there a product available or at least some method to keep this from happening.
Very basic question, but I need an answer, please.

also cases can be purchased for some players which have either a pocket for the earbuds or a place to spool them.

I do wrap them, still get tangled. Just found out there's a product called ear-pods where you can wind them up. Thanks

wrapping is okay but beware

I used to wrap cords around such appliances, but be warned that this can cause the cords to stretch and maybe even become detached from the phones. I had a power adapter once that lost its cords because of over-wrapping the cord, so try a case, I suppose. Otherwise, you may just have to live with it. Sorry, but I just wanted to warn you that wrapping cords around any appliance might be a bad idea. Happy Holidays everyone. Hope your family is safe and well.

It advertises itself for iPod, but you can use it for any set of earbuds. It or something similar might work for you tangling problem.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
