I'm willing to bet that your problem is caused by a SPAM filter, which is redirecting all e-mails from her to your "deleted items" folder. Try going tools->message rules->blocked senders list and make sure that her e-mail address isn't listed. Then "mail rules" tab, and make sure there are no rules set that may "discriminate" against her. Also, if you have any third-party plugins installed that filter out spam, check them too.
If this doesn't work, and if your e-mail provider uses SPAM filtering technology, you may need to access the account directly and add her e-mail address to your address book/allow list.

A friend asked why I didn't answer any of her e-mails to me. I didn't know she had sent any, since they did not show up in my INBOX.
By coincidence, I deleted something in error and went into the "Delete" folder to retrieve it. There I found the last two messages my friend had sent.
This has happened with every message she has sent. All e-mail messages I receive from others arrive in my Inbox.
As far as she knows, all her messages to other recipients arrive correctly in their inboxes.
Her mail comes from @Suffolk.lib.NY.US
I hope someone knows what is causing this.
