hello all,

I have recently installed windows7.Cannot open links in incoming e-mails.told application not found.everything else working ok
would appreciate assistance.

That is because Windows 7 does not come with an email program. You must download and install one of your own. I personally like Thunderbird, but there are dozens of other possibilities out there.

thanks for advice,the problem was with the default system.had downloaded live essentials full pack and missed default set up. up and running now linked with hotmail as was with vista.

to handle your email. So which is it, and which version? Also please confirm that the problem is with hypertext links rather than file attachments.

I didn't up grade but bought a new computer Gateway desk model and have the same problem mostley with Yahoo as MSN seems to work pretty well. U can make it work by right clicking on the link and then left on copy shortcut then right clicking on the address line and deleteing whats there and then right clicking on the same line and pasting ur link on the addressing line and it will drop down and u can enter and it will go to what u want.
