e-Learning Course Development Kit Help

I have just started using a program called e-Learning Course Development Kit. I am going to be putting the course I am developing on a CD-Rom. The instructions for the kit say to modify the script to write cmi.suspend_data and core.lesson_location to a local file on the hard drive if you would like to bookmark the learners location within the course. Would this be in the course.js file? If so, any help on what script and where in that file would help me a ton. If not, which script file would that go into? Thanks.
