As to the other issue there are a few hundred causes so rather than work without all the details I'd look at other posts with same complaint.
A while back I asked about RAM on my computer. Belarc Advisor says "Slot A0 has 1024MB" and "Slot A1 has 1024MB" yet there is "1024 MB installed memory", so at some point one of the RAM sticks died, but I went along nicely with 1MB. But now how can I tell if the other one is dying, too? Lately videos on youtube, etc., using either Firefox or IE, is very halt-y, the stream doesn't move faster than the time ticker so it's play-stop-play-stop in increments, in some cases, of only a few seconds. Is this the sign of bad RAM? If not what could cause that in either browser when I'm viewing videos. Thanks.
