Hi all,

Quick question:

I have a Panasonic DVR hooked up to my TV but I don't want to buy TIVO service (I'm cheap!!). Is there anyway to hook the DVR up to my PC and have my PC schedule recording times for the DVR (I dont want to record onto the pc)?

Like is there a website or software where I can input schedule times or TV shows to record?

Doesn't your panasonic have a program guide that downloads automatically when hooked up to cable or satellite?? You don't have to have tivo if the unit can provide a guide. Read the owners manual, I don't know what model you have but I think a couple of the pannys include a guide.
