The short response is this:
1. The drive in question is beginning to age and soon will not read a few more DVDs. Try a lens cleaner, keep fingerprints and such off the DVD media.
2. The DVD media could be in some DVD+R or DVD-R in a format your driver or software can't handle. You won't be able to fix this 99% of the time. Pestering the supplier is best.
3. Some DVD drive have newer FLASH FIRMWARE. I update these as I find them with good results. Since the drive maker supplies this with instructions, I will NOT duplicate those instructions since I might make an error.

Dear sir/forum
Except these two movie DVDs (Shemaroo (www.shemaroo.com) company's DVDs of Hindi movies "Bobby" & "Mera Gaon Mera Desh" all other DVDs are being played well in installed DVD ROM Drive with my computer, but these two DVDs are running fine in other dedicated Philips DVD Player. My computer is unable to read these two movie DVDs on insertion in drive F:\ i.e DVDROM Drive. on exploring my computer, drive F:\ and command(clickin of mouse button ) to open : the message i received "there is no disk in drive F:\"
I cant b sure about any malfunction of DVD ROM Drive ( hardware & software (PowerDVD 5.0) as other DVDs are playble in same drive while i cant say otherwise about DVDs purchased as they are being played on dedicated philips DVD player.
Please do needful at earliest.
Thank you
