1. You reinstalled Windows, reinstalled Nero. That's OK. And uninstalled alcohol and daemon tools. That's strange. Those shouldn't be present after a clean install of Windows. So probably you didn't do that. Better do!
2. You are talking about a Samsung DVD burner. But the messages in your post say that it's a TSSTcorp CDDVDW SE-S084C. That's somewhat strange, although it could be true, of course, that TSSTcorp made it and Samsung sells it.
3. Windows XP 6.0. What's that? I know SP2 and SP3 and that should be it. Although, of course, it's possible that some diagnostic and logging programs find 6.0 somewhere in the system.
Things to try (after you did a really clean install of the OS, of course, back to factory settings):
a. Download free cdburnerxp and use that in stead of Nero.
b. If OK install Nero (if you prefer) and try that.
c. Try it on another machine a second time if both a and b fail.

I am pasting the actual error message I have got. The product is still under warranty. I have it changed once. But second time when I checked it with other computer it worked fine there. Mine is a Samsung USB slim external DVDwriter. They will not replace it if the errror do not show in the other computer. What I do....I reinstalled windows in my dell lap top and reinstalled nero..Uninstalled alcohol and daemon tools..tried No of versions of nero...Still same error...Please help...
