I burned a dvd of home videos that were on the camcorder, using Roxio, there was a problem after the burning, the computer didn't recognize the computer as a written cd, it recognized it as a blank dvd, but when i tried buring it again on roxio, it said insert another dvd in. Roxio, recognizes as a data dvd, how is this possible when i burned it as a video disc, I updated everything, what the problem??
Please help me?

That Roxio can make but not play a video DVD. You still need some dvd player software such as VLCPLAYER to play the video DVD.

However it is possible you have a coaster but since nothing was written about DVD player software let's hope that's it.

Does the DVD play on a DVD player connected to the TV?

Also, some don't tell all the details such as "there was a problem after the burning," Could there be some other problem as well as did this ever work?
