DVD Tray Stuck!!!!!

Pulling my hair out with this problem - had the Panasonic SA-BT200 Blu ray Player which was excellent until the dvd tray started to refuse to open.

Called Panasonic and they told me the same as the manual to press the fast forward/power/open/close etc together to no avail. Not sure if the fast forward on the main unit actually does anything as the button is a selector? Tried the fast forward on the remote also. I dont want to fork out a small fortune on this.

Can you not open it like the Xbox?Pc by pushing a paperclip or other tiny object into a hole that will then open it?

Did not find any document on a manual eject.

" holding down the stop and power buttons also locks the system as well as unlocking it. " The stop and power button is to lock and unlock, the eject is the other button so it may be time for servicing. If it's dead, why not get into it and see if you can clean the drive's tracks?
