DVD To JPeg

Nov 18, 2004 9:15PM PST

My friend lost all of her pictures in a fire, but her tapes were stored somewhere else. If she put Tapes on a DVD, can she then cut out Jpegs from the movies? If so what software would she need ? Thanks

It is possible but a lot of education, trial, erorr and "work".

For instance, all the software which I can not offer any support for can accomplish this feat is...

DVDDECRYPTER - Fetches the video
DVD2AVI - Converts it to AVI so that...
IRFANVIEW - Can save such to a series of JPEGs.

That's only ONE of many methods.

Another method is to find a (PC based software) DVD player that has a SNAPSHOT feature.
