DVD to AVI conversion in Mac

Aug 17, 2006 10:49AM PDT

How do I covert a copyright free DVD (DVD-R) into an avi file using Mac OSX Tiger and then covert that into a Quicktime movie to post on our website?

I do have Final Cut Studio (Pro 5) and Quicktime 7.1 but have not figured out how to do this.

Hmmmm, For windows there is program called dvdcypter that will rip the files from the DVD, then you can edit them.
Try this link and also repost this in the MAC fourm. John
