Dvd's Region 1?

Dec 19, 2005 12:31AM PST

I have a box set of Dvd's I bought on ebay that came from Bangkok. The boxes are in English with abbreviated Chinese? script underneath. All labels and copyrights are present(CBS Video,Alliance Atlantis,Dolby Digital,Paramount,Etc,Etc.).These dvd's played great on my dvd player and I had no problems at all. They are marked "region 1 US,CA".My question is...is there a chance these dvd's will not play on some players bought in the US?

Always. But it is the right region for the US.

But I'm just sharing that I have received a few (all of 2 so far) that didn't play on any player.
