by Wesley51 / January 21, 2006 7:42 AM PST

I just purhased my first dvd recorder to replace my vcr. It's a Panasonic dmr-es20.My question is about the write speeds on the different dvd-rw's I've seen.According to the manual it will write in 2X and 4X.Will one do any better than the other,or does disk speed matter on these units?-Thanks.

I thought I might need to clarify exactly what I'm asking. My question is in relation to which dvd-rw disk should be used with my unit. What difference in performance will it make if I use a dvd-rw 2X disk versus a dvd-rw 4X.-thanks

If you use a 4x disk then the show will tape faster so you can watch it sooner...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
