by rameshv1210 / March 21, 2009 4:36 PM PDT

Actually with half knowledge, i stopped some services to increase the speed of my machine with vista operating system.

After that i found the problem with DVD-ROM detection.

i tried to restart all the services that i stopped, but even i am unable get my dvd rom back.

Now there is something going in my machine, when i start it and click immediatley on "MyComputer" i can find that DVD ROM is listed there ,but after few seconds (i.e all services started) then DVDROM is disappeared.

Please tell me that how to get my DVD-ROM working back

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
