Try bypassing Autorun.
by Papa Echo / July 16, 2005 7:21 PM PDT

? Put the disc in drive.
? As soon as you let in the drive tray. press SHIFT for a few seconds, then release. This will bypass AUTORUN.
? Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to open up the disc to look for the setup file to install the game.
? If this does not work, try cleaning the disc.
? If this still does not work, try on another computer; and if this also does not work, most probbaly, you have a defective disc.

Sure it's a DVD-ROM?
by Yew / July 16, 2005 8:54 PM PDT

Is there at least the possibility it's only a CD-ROM? A CD-ROM, which would be incapable of reading DVDs.
