DVD Quality Screen Capture - How ?

Mar 8, 2006 5:23AM PST

Hi,

I want to make recordings from my Windows PC Screen (1280x1024). I guess I could connect my S-Video out to a DVD recorder and it would be fine. But the quality will be limited to S-Video which is AFAIK ~600x550 pixels.

My graphics card naturally has DVI output and I wonder if there is a way of recording DVD quality video. Any hints ?

Thanks in advance,

MDE

Why not CAMTASIA?

Hint: google.com

Camtesia doesn't help

Because camtesia is a sw solution and it interferes with the running application. The application can not run that smooth and camtesia can not capture every frame.

Works fine here. But...

The slowest machine in the office is the 2.0GHz Athlon 64.

Try SCREEN RECORDER on google.com and see what else is out there. Since we have this and it works, we haven't looked for other solutions.

Thanks for the hint. It looks like CPU is my bottleneck in this case.
