While there are ways to rip the DVD and play on run of the mill tablets, the Kindle is a closed system and thus my answer is "nope."
I'm looking for a new solution to allowing the kids to watch a DVD movie while we travel. Currently we have the portable DVD that hangs from the seat in front of them. Bad thing is the devices are getting old and cables running everywhere and some DVDs work, while others pause or don't work at all.
What I would like to find is a way to take the output from a regular DVD player (or blue-ray) and send the signal out on a WiFi so the 3-4 Kindles could receive the signal, letting the kids watch the movie.
Is there such a device out there or something that could be built?
