DVD Multirecoder +/- unable to

by Bulletrushout / March 27, 2008 10:34 AM PDT

I am using a DVD Multirecoder to burn movies, slide shows etc with Roxio 9. What i found out is that i am able to burn anything i wish to burn but only if i use DVD-R cd's. If put in a DVD+R it always get rejected. On the face of the burner and the manual is says +/- R DVD's. Now is it the Roxio software that is rejecting the DVD+R CD, if yes, can the correction be made somewhere in the software. I also tried Nero and same problem.
System info: 850Mhz, 1024mb, XP-PRO, AMD-ATHLON

I had some no-name DVD+R media
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / March 27, 2008 11:39 AM PDT

That I couldn't use on my new drive. Later I changed the drive and tried that media and it worked. I'm going to decline copying all the web sites and pages I read on this issue and just write "it happens."

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
