The message "Create Overlay failed" is typical if video drivers are out of date or the DVD player software is not for your OS.
There is no "click here" cure, but you can update drivers for motherboard, video card and see if the DVD player is for this OS.
I'm unsure if RealPlayer does DVD, so I can't comment on that. You can seek their help at REAL.COM
Here the problem When I play a DVD I get this message in RealPlayer f any other applications are running try closing them, lower your screen video resolution and color depth (for example: 1024x768 -> 800x600), update your video card driver software to the latest version.
If I try in Window Media PLayer it just skip to each chapter no picture. I also have a DVD player when I try to play a DVD movie Create Overlay failed Change to lower resolution or color depth and try again.
1. My CD player plays music and plays application like a map application but no game applications-Monopoly
2. I do have some movies saved and some of them when I go to full screen it like they are in zoom mode and the cuser is large.
3. I have a Nvidia 64 Mg video card
4. All the other movies like internet movies play ok
So is it a bad DVD player or is it a bad set up on my video card or something else.
O I did try to lower resolution no luck. can this be from a zoom problem with my video card.
