DVD is dead - HD lives!

Nov 10, 2005 8:59PM PST

I have decided to kill DVD when it comes to backup files. Especial when it comes to video. I might also say that I work semipro with editing video. And that takes up a lot of stuff. So far I have a RAID 0 config on my workstation with only 160 GB. On my server I have 80 GB for system only and 2 x 250 GB. Attached to the server is two USB2 drives, each of 250 GB. And one FW 250 GB. Most of the files is video - I would say approx 800 GB. So in total I have 1.490 TB + a laptop with 2 x 60 GB, 7200 RPM. I now it is time to replace my 250 GB in my server with 500 GB.
