Question

DVD help

Oct 15, 2018 9:10AM PDT

I copied a VHS to a DVD-R. When the DVD is then played in the DVD player, the file plays as per what was copied. When I put the DVD into a mac to see the file, it DVD shows empty. Any advice?

What DVD player software is on the Apple?
Oct 15, 2018 9:17AM PDT

I think VLC Player is out for many Apples.

There's also a question if a DVR was used. My DVR does this until I use a menu on the DVR to finalize the recording.

I copied a VHS to DVD-R using basically a combo VCR / DVD player. No DVR was used.
DVD software is the basic DVD player, VLC and Quicktime.

WIthout a model number

Of the combo VCR DVD I can't see if there is a manual. My Philips DVDR3576H requires one last step.

I'm going to have to guess that's it.

Thanks, I figured it out. There was a disc finalization tool in the VCR I didn't do. I appreciate you responding.
