DVD Burning First-Timer

Jul 20, 2007 3:58PM PDT

Hi
I had previously asked a question to this Forum about Windows Movie Maker Codecs, since I was having a problem trying to get it to recognize some avi files for my home making movie venture. Thankfully, your assistance was most helpful. Now, I've run into another snag. I recently downloaded some Free To Try software programs for burning directly to DVD, which look only for Video_TS files, like VOB files. Could you please suggest a program that would immediately recognize the Windows Movie Maker file that I saved and burn it to DVD?

Thank you again for you patience and your help Happy

Thank you coryphaeus for your help. I downloaded the program you suggested and I found it quite user-friendly. To be honest, I just clicked burn after adding my file directory, and was glad to see that it played back in Windows Media Player (Ver:10). Then I put the disc in my home DVD player to try and view it on my TV Monitor, and it reported a "No Play" message. Where did I go wrong?

Thank you for any further clarification Happy
