DVD Burners-dual layer

May 26, 2005 1:58AM PDT

I am searching for a good dvd burner with dual layer capability. It needs to be able to transfer vhs movies to dvd and transfer digital images from a camcorder. I want it fast and good image quality. I have both a dell inspiron laptop and a gateway pc. therefore it appears i am looking for both an external and an interanal burner. it apears that the nero software may be the best but I am not sure. I woud appreciate some insights regarding brands and models.
thanks

It's digital.

It's digital storage and the picture quality is not set by the make/model of the drive in question.

Just so you know.
