DVD Burner - Question...

I'm looking at geting this DVD...

# 1. Short write times due to 4x write speed with DVD+RW and DVD+R - corresponding to 36x speed with CD-R/RW.
# 2. Faster CD functions: 24x write CD-R, 10x rewrite CD-RW and 40x read CD.
# 3. Compatibility with DVD players and DVD ROM drives

The Question...
Can you Burn CD R's at 48X and 52X with this burner.....

NO. At least not reliably. The software may even prevent it. The drive prices have dropped drastically buy one that gives the performance that you want.
