dusting a laptop

There's a CNET Weekend Project on dusting desktop, and it is nice. My old computer is relatively clean by now. Before, it was grumbling with dust.

But how about a laptop? How can I dust/clean it? A laptop can suck in dust at a very high rate, but it isn't a decent place to fumble around with a can of compressed air.

thanks Proffitt.
but the article applies specificly to laptop models that have big air vents that a cotton swab can squish in. my laptop model has a net-like vent whose holes are too small for a swab to get in.

A can of compressed air could work, but won't it just blow dusts into the case? (maybe i am wrong)

Or to the other vents and out.

If you feel uncomfortable with a little dusting, most shops can do the job for you in a few minutes.

Vaccume first to pull as much dust as possible out. If air goes in it come out some where. Put the hose vaccume at the inlet and use the caned air at the oulet, this reverses the normail air flow and helps get the dirt out. John
