Durable MP3 Player?

by ShadowDancer5 / November 22, 2005 11:06 PM PST

I am looking for an mp3 player which is inexpensive, has 256 MB of memory or more, and which has an FM radio. I would like something that I can use while exercising, something that is durable.

I had gotten the RCA Lyra RD2212 which seemed perfect but two days after I got the player, it fell on the ground and wouldn't play songs properly after that. I have seen CD players, cell phones, pedometers, and some other mp3 players dropped on the ground numerous times and I have never seen one break from one fall, let alone multiple falls. Does anyone know if this is typical of RCA mp3 players? What mp3 players can better withstand such shock?

I had a 512GB player that was great. I exchanged it for the 1GB model because I wanted more storage. Pretty good player, sound quality is good, supports playlists and is subscription service compatible. Flash memory will keep it from skipping.

128Mb to 1Gb (700 series). Great overall flashplayer-> wont skip becasue it doesn't have a hardrive. FM tuner AND rec. small, extremely portable, and has one of the best sound quality for a flash player. check it out here on cnet.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
