Hi Viberman...

Just so I understand, you created a discussion thread (specifically this one: and currently tracking it.

After an hour or so you received a notification that there was an update to your discussion thread. You clicked the link in the email which was this one:

Which took you to your discussion thread, but you didn't see any replies to your question and was left wondering and confused as why you were sent an email alert when there was no one who replied your question. Is that correct?

If what I described to you is correct, then you have every right to be confused, so let me explain.

The forum system that notifies members of updates to a their tracked discussions unfortunately isn't very smart. The system only knows who is tracking a discussion, but it has no idea who is posting to the discussions--so even if you are tracking the discussion and posting to the discussion, you will still get an email notification about your own post.

Let me know if this makes sense. Hopefully this clarifies things a bit and I do apologize for the confusing experience.

Hi Lee Koo.

I would certainly appreciate "How to remove duplicate photos" in Vista.

Just returned from Aussie land after two months with family so that's why I have not e-mail a reply top your e-mail to me.
