It gets about a month on a charge. 20 bucks and I am using a Ting (Tmobile) SIM.

I currently have the nexus 5 with T mobile service carrier in the US and would like to get a dumbphone.
Are my options limited or could i get a phone such as the emporia rl1 and use it with my previous sim card? What are your suggestions regarding a phone with no browser?
Thanks

Just make sure whatever you choose contains the 850/1900 frequency bands for use on T-Mobile's voice network in North America. Isn't the RL1 a 900/1800-only phone? Personally, it might make more sense to get one w/ 1700 too for an emergency if you are ever w/o your Nexus and need data quick for something stupid ![]()
The BLU phones do make great backup phones IME.
