Dumb upgrade question, vista to Win7

Jul 13, 2010 8:24AM PDT

Hello, I am about to build my first computer and I have a question. In short, can I upgrade Vista Business 32bit to Win7 Professional 64bit without any problems? In case you were wondering
I am a student and this is the cheapest way to get Win7.

Thanks in advance.

the vista is an actual DVD for when my computer gets built to get it going, the win7 upgrade will be a download. If I'm understanding this correctly from the link, i can do this but when prompted i do a custom install, i wont have any files to back up anyway.

Will this work?
