by eddyhc1 / June 23, 2009 8:07 AM PDT

I have a Dell XPS M2010 with duel hardrives. Before Dell replaced one harddrive, at the Dell logo page I given a choice which operating system I wanted Windows 7 RC, Vista Home Preinum or Windows XP. What steps can I take it restore the computer back. In addition Dell Tech support reinstalled Vista. In Computer section I still see drive C, D and F. Dell offered to help me for a fee of $250.00

So is it pistols at dawn?

So is it pistols at dawn for your dueling hard drives? Sorry, couldn't resist the joke. Every time someone incorrectly uses "duel" instead of "dual" I get this image of -- in this case -- two hard drives standing back to back with pistols raised, on a hill with a lone tree overlooking the town below, ready to start counting off the paces before they turn and fire in order to uphold their honor.

Kees more or less hit on the answer.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
