Question

Dual Monitors running MAc and Windows

I am buying new iMac - Need to use some windows app (Office and the like) Will buy Paralells 8 and load Windows 8 on the Mac

Question - How can I make windows run on one monitor and MAc on the other and work on both simulataeously

I don't know your computer skills but it should work. This does not mean you can make it work. But it's the right items with one small caveat. Microsoft demands you buy the Pro version of their OS so I can't guess if any party enforces that.

My question is this. If the companies you are buying from will not answer this or help you set it up, why are you buying from them?

This is an easy one,

once you have Paralells and Windows 8 configured, the battle is over.

Set your two laptop to work as an Extended Desktop.
Launch Parallels and drag it to the other monitor. Easiest to do if you do not have it in Full Screen mode to start with.
Expand out the Windows 8 window to fill the second monitor. (assuming you want it on the second monitor)
Now on the iMac monitor you have all that free space to run Office and the like.
