Later versions of Windows have tried to address what you are attempting to do. But most setups don't support this. Just look at the audio mixer and you see it was designed as if you only had one audio producer.
I connected my Laptop with my Samsung TV for extended dual monitor use with an HDMI cable. I set it up where my TV is extending my laptop screen.
My question is, Is it possible to have 2 separate audio outputs using my extended screen?
For Example: If I drag my netflix onto my TV monitor and keep iTunes on my laptop monitor, How do I have only netflix audio playing on just the TV monitor and just the itunes audio playing on my laptop. My problem is that the audio keeps playing on both monitors no matter where it is coming from.
Please help with a step by step solution if possible. Thank You
