in the Vista forum and the XP forum.
Greetings,
I have been banging my head against a wall for a couple weeks with this problem and Im hoping that someone out there has some suggestions that I haven't tried already.
Heres the skinny,
I've got a new F50sv Asus laptop. Works great, no problems. But im an audio engineer and my software and hardware (drivers) have almost no support for vista. SO, knowing this I bought an oem copy of windows xp 2005 home edition. Whats the best way to set up dual boot so I can use xp with my audio production equipment, but also be able to switch between vista when I want to play games or use the internet. Asus provides no drivers for xp with this laptop ![]()
Im up against a wall here. I would buy a mac just to get past this rediculous vista problem but i have a lot of software thats windows only. I leave the country in 15 days and I really need to get this taken care of before that.
thanks a lot for your help,
Jason
