You have a good handle on the speed so see if they offer a faster DSL. Satellite has issues too such as those on sat scream about caps. Video should have you top out the monthly quota in a day so I feel that's no solution.
My current internet provider only offers DSL where I live and it has become quite slow with a lot of buffering when more than 2 tv's are watching netflix or hulu. Add in a couple computers and we have time to have a snack while waiting. My download speed is 4 MBPS and upload is .51Mbps. I'm using an actiontec GT784 router but was wondering if a different router would help speed things along in house. I've been told that a newer AC router may help. I have 3 ethernet connections off the router and and 2 tv's, 2-3 phones and 2 laptops using wireless with a signal booster. I'm considering going to a satellite provider but am open to suggestion.
