dsl...crc errors

ok so this is my problem. i keep getting kicked from my dsl (at&t) many times a day due to these:

MON JUN 15 07:45:38 2009 Disconnecting session(0): My Connection due to PADT received

MON JUN 15 07:45:38 2009 Received PADT for session id 6526

i have checked my NID and these are the results i got, they dont seem that much different but i dont really know anythhing about these numbers...any help with these would be great

just to sympathize with you. After using dsl for a year, I have come to the conclusion it's not very reliable...period.

the voice grade cable pair, any metallic faults that can interfere with voice (noise, hum, static) will kill DSL. Have you reported it to your provider?

Yes you could replace, try other DSL modems but many can't do that or won't. Another trial is to the old HOME RUN. That is, wire ONLY from your demarc box (see google) directly to the DSL modem. NO OTHER CONNECTIONS allowed.

If that fails, you deal with your provider.
